Nichol C. Moss serves as the Financial Secretary for the Triad chapter of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc. (NANBPWC). She is currently a Program Supervisor and Education and Community Volunteer Coordinator at the Department of Adult Corrections, where she plays a pivotal role in providing inmates with resources to foster better decision-making in education and career pathways. Ms. Moss firmly believes that “your past does not determine where you’re going in your future,” a philosophy that guides her work and outreach.
With over two decades of service, Nichol has earned significant recognition, including three Award Certificates from the Department of Justice and the Attorney General for her commitment to training, education standards, and her 21 years of distinguished service. She specializes in counseling and motivating individuals to achieve advancement in academics, career development, and life enrichment.
Ms. Moss holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Shaw University and has pursued additional studies in Community Agency Counseling at North Carolina A&T State University. She also earned a Certificate of Completion from the School of Leadership at Total Restoration Church and Ministries in 2007. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she contributed as a volunteer with the Thomasville Human Resources Department from 2005 to 2010 and currently serves as Chairperson for Carolina Transition Care Inc., developing faith-based educational programs for youth.
Nichol’s goals include expanding her professional reach by pursuing a master’s degree in psychology to deepen her counseling expertise and launching a career in travel consulting. Passionate about helping others prosper and succeed, she is committed to continual personal and professional growth.
In her leisure time, Nichol enjoys gardening, visiting parks, and watching movies, embracing both the beauty of nature and the arts as forms of relaxation and inspiration.
