Andrea Gilliard is a dedicated educator with a passion for empowering students and transforming communities through education. With a bachelor’s degree from North Carolina A&T State University and a master’s in School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, Andrea is currently pursuing her doctorate in Educational Leadership at High Point University.

With years of experience in education, Andrea has cultivated a reputation for innovation, compassion, and leadership. Her areas of expertise include curriculum development, special education ,school leadership, and community engagement. She is deeply committed to nurturing student potential and supporting educators as agents of change.

Andrea proudly serves as a board member of the Each Child Counts Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to educational equity. Through this role, she has contributed to building a school in Liberia West Africa, helping to expand access to quality education for children in underserved communities.

Outside the classroom and boardroom, Andrea lives by the philosophy that "education is the passport to the future." She is an avid traveler, artist, and outdoor enthusiast who believes that creativity and exploration are key to personal and professional growth. Whether mentoring a student, painting a new canvas, or hiking a scenic trail, Andrea brings heart, purpose, and vision to everything she does.

Her journey is driven by a single goal: to inspire, uplift, and lead by example.
